Wigan consider Placente

Reports coming out of Spain suggest that Wigan are set to sign Celta Vigo and Argentina left back Diego Placente for £1.4m.

Placente has been recently linked with a move to Rangers but the move failed to materialise and he remained in Spain.



The Argentinean joined the Spanish club from Bayer Leverkusen in 2005 where he played for four years and was part of their Champions League campaigns.
