Serie A trio Roma, Juventus and Inter Milan are keeping tabs on Matteo Darmian, who is considering a fresh challenge away from Manchester United.
The Italy international was expected to return to the Serie A during the summer but his chances were hampered by the fact that none of the clubs matched United's £20m asking price.
Since then, Darmian has not featured for United extensively with just one appearance in the Premier League and he appears likely to leave Old Trafford when the transfer window reopens.
According to Calciomercato, Roma, Juventus and Inter Milan are among the Italian clubs vying for his signature and United could be prepared to sell the versatile full-back to the highest bidder in January.
Darmian presently has 10 months left on his existing deal but the club may seek to activate the one-year option on his contract in order to garner more funds from his proposed sale.
