Trent Alexander-Arnold rules out Liverpool departure

20 October 2018 - 13:17

England and Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has ruled out the possibility of him leaving the club in the near future. Alexander-Arnold has been a revelation at Anfield since forcing his way into the club's first-team starting XI and has now revealed he wants to spend the rest of his career with the Reds.

  • Chelsea asked for Max Dowman during Noni Madueke talks
  • Arsenal ready to pay £40m to sign Chelsea star Noni Madueke

  • Jurgen Klopp has brought the young defender through over the past two seasons, helping Alexander-Arnold play for England's first-team side and a part of the World Cup 2018 squad in Russia.

Trent now told reporters of a possible departure: “There is nowhere else I’d rather be than Liverpool.

“Somewhere I want to stay for the rest of my career is Liverpool. It’s what I’ve always dreamed of. Liverpool are special.

“It’s completely down to the fans. Whether we are winning or losing we always have their love."

The defender has three years remaining on his current deal that the player recently signed at the club.

Jurgen Klopp has so far rotated the defender as a right-back this season.
