Ashley Young hails 'world-class' Anthony Martial

Manchester United defender Ashley Young has hailed the performance of teammate Anthony Martial during Saturday's Premier League clash against Chelsea.

The Red Devils looked largely second best during their league meeting against the Blues but Martial managed to help them secure a point after bagging a brace in the 2-2 draw.

Following the game, Young praised his teammate as a world-class player and admitted that he is not sure why the Frenchman does not get a regular run with the national team.

"He is fantastic, he is a world-class player. To be honest I am not sure why he is not in the France squad, but that is down to the French manager," Young told United's official website.

Martial started the season in a slow manner after missing part of pre-season for the birth of his second child. He has however picked up form in recent weeks and he is currently on a run of two matches where he has scored thrice.
