Rosenior eyes England call up

13 March 2008 - 22:26

Reading youngster Liam Rosenior is hoping that Fabio Capello's recent visits to the Madejski Stadium were in order to see him in action. Rosenior is hoping to earn his first England call up soon, and some impressive displays have caught the eye.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • “I look at Curtis Davies and Micah Richards, who I played with in the under-21s, and Nicky Shorey has also got in the England squad because of his performances at club level,” Rosenior said on the club’s website.

“I was unable to do that because I wasn’t playing, but I have always been confident in my ability and confident that if I got a chance I would make an impact.”
