Malcom back on Spurs radar?

Tottenham Hotspur back in for Malcom?

28 October 2018 - 00:14

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly revived their interest in signing Malcom, who has struggled for regular gametime since his summer move to Barcelona from Bordeaux.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The Brazilian footballer was constantly linked with Spurs during the backend of the previous campaign but he eventually made his way to Barcelona during the summer after they outbid AS Roma to his services.

Malcom has since failed to garner regular playing time with just 25 minutes of first-team action across all competitions and Corriere dello Sport claims that the attacker may now seek a fresh challenge elsewhere.

It is added that Spurs still hold an interest in the former Bordeaux man, though they are unlikely to get him on the cheap during the January transfer window.

Barcelona had paid a sum of around £35m to prise the attacker away from Bordeaux during the summer and they are now said to be eyeing an instant profit of at least £15m to part ways with the outcast.
