Juventus keen on signing Marcus Rashford?

20 November 2018 - 11:48

Juventus are reportedly planning a future approach for Marcus Rashford with him yet to commit to a new long-term contract at Manchester United.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The England international has netted 34 goals in nearly 140 appearances for the Red Devils since graduating through the club's academy during the 2015/16 season.

Despite this, the versatile attacker has been in-and-out of the starting lineup under current boss Jose Mourinho and this has resulted in him being linked with a potential move away from Old Trafford.

According to The Times, the Bianconeri are said to hold an interest in pursuing the United graduate and they have already started considering an approach for the 21-year-old.

Rashford's present deal expires in the summer of 2020 but United have the assurance of an extension clause which would prolong his stay for another 12 months at the least.

As such, United are in no hurry to consider the Englishman's future and they may be tempted to do so, should the attacker continue with the contract standoff for the course of the current campaign.

Rashford has laid the requirements of a regular starting position on signing the proposed extension but that is certainly not guaranteed with Mourinho at the helm of things.
