Lee worried by Diouf, Anelka

24 August 2007 - 02:10

Bolton coach Sammy Lee has confirmed his worries over the futures of strikers Nicolas Anelka and El-Hadji Diouf. Anelka in particular has been the subject of interest this summer, and Man Utd have been linked with the player.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • On the other hand, Diouf has failed to sign a new contract and is wanted by Sampdoria and Benfica among other sides.

Sammy Lee is under pressure following Bolton's poor start this year. Losing experienced players will not be on Lee's agenda who hopes that the interest is merely speculation and his strikers will be able to continue at Bolton.
