Lyon's chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has announced that the club will continue to spend. Several players have been linked with Lyon and Willian Borges of Corinthians and Huntelaar of Ajax are rumoured to be top of Alain Perrin's list.
Lyon have also been pursuing Nicolas Anelka and Eidur Gudjohnsen, but failed in the pursuit of Jefferson Farfan who looks set to stay at PSV.
