Real Madrid identify West Ham star as Eden Hazard alternative?

Real Madrid could reportedly switch their attention towards signing Felipe Anderson from West Ham United, should Chelsea decline to sell Eden Hazard in the summer.

  • Hazard will be entering the final year of his contract at the end of the season but the Blues are still said to be reluctant to part ways with the attacker after FIFA recently sanctioned them with a two-window transfer ban.

According to Sky Sports, the west London club have already declined a £60m bid from Los Blancos for the Belgian and they are said to want at least double the figure to consider a possible sale.

Should this not be the case, they are prepared to risk the Belgian for the final year of his contract even if he continues with the ongoing contract standoff at the club.

In such a situation, Los Blancos are understood to have a contingency plan in place in the form of Anderson, who has been a huge hit since his move to West Ham.

Anderson has amassed eight goals and four assists in the Premier League alone this term and it is suggested that the Spanish giants could seek to lure West Ham into a sale with a package worth £65m this summer.
