Ander Herrera is reportedly hoping to agree on a contract extension at Manchester United despite being offered the chance to join Paris Saint-Germain on a Bosman in the summer.
The 29-year-old will be available on a free transfer when his contract expires in June and this sees him eligible to discuss a pre-contract with a foreign-based club.
According to The Telegraph, the Spain international is still keen on staying put with the Mancunian giants and he is prepared to wait until the summer before making a decision over his future.
The Spaniard is presently said to want at least double of his current £75,000-a-week wages but so far, the Red Devils have refused to budge to his demands over the same.
On the contrary, Les Parisiens are prepared to offer him with a three-year contract on his wage requirement while also presenting him with a sizeable signing-on bonus.
Herrera, who has been a regular feature under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this year, has managed 186 appearances for Manchester United across all competitions to date.
