Moyes bans talk of 4th

Moyes bans talk of 4th

21 March 2008 - 15:56

Everton boss David Moyes has banned all talk of the race for fourth in the Premiership. The 1-0 defeat to Fulham last week saw his side slip three points behind Liverpool but Moyes hopes his side shows more of the same form that helped them into fourth earlier in the season.

  • Arsenal to battle Napoli to sign Alexsandro Ribeiro?
  • Arsenal make surprise decision on Viktor Gyokeres

  • Moyes said: “The media keep using the word fourth place, but that’s for another day, not just now. We want to keep winning the games and doing as well as we can.

“If you’d given me one defeat in nine games, I would have taken it, most managers would. I think our form since the turn of the year has been fantastic, and all I can do is keep praising the players, tell them how well their doing and hopefully they will keep giving me more of the same.”
