Manchester United have reportedly made a final contract offer to Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea and they are unlikely to reconsider negotiations in the future.
According to Sport, the Red Devils have placed a fresh £300,000-a-week contract on the table for the 28-year-old and they are unwilling to increase on the package.
It is added that the proposal falls short of the player's £450,000-a-week demands and United would be prepared to part ways with the shot-stopper, should he decline the offer.
De Gea currently has 13 months remaining on his existing contract with the club but United are still said to want a sum in the region of £75m for his services, given he has been one of the league's best goalkeepers over the years.
He has recently undergone a slump in form which has included a few high-profile errors, but that has been partly attributed to the uncertainty regarding his future with the Mancunian giants.
