Spanish champions Barcelona have reportedly made a surprise approach to secure the services of Marcus Rashford from Manchester United this summer.
Rashford has been a mainstay in the United first-team in the past three seasons and he was one of their leading players last term with 13 goals and nine assists across all competitions.
According to SPORT, the Blaugrana have earmarked Rashford as a possible long-term candidate to replace Luis Suarez and they have already made a tentative enquiry over his availability.
Rashford presently has just 12 months remaining on his existing deal at Old Trafford but United have the option of prolonging his stay for another year through an extension clause.
As such, the Red Devils are facing no compulsion to sell during the summer and SPORT claims that the Blaugrana would have to cough up a club-record £150m fee in order to hold any chance of convincing United into a deal.
