Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny has reportedly agreed personal terms with French side Rennes as he aims to push through an exit from the Emirates Stadium this summer.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • The central defender has recently declined to travel with the Gunners for their pre-season tour of the United States and reports have emerged that he is determined to pursue a fresh challenge after nine seasons at the club.

According to RMC Sport, Lyon, Bordeaux and Rennes are in the running to sign the 33-year-old defender and the latter are said to have already agreed on contract terms with the former France international.

Still, the Gunners remain reluctant to release him from his existing deal but there are claims that Koscielny may even consider buying out the final 12 months of his contract.

Arsenal are yet to find a potential replacement for Koscielny but they have been linked with a £10m move for Pape Abou Cisse, who is currently in the ranks of Olympiakos.
