Bayern Munich have emerged as shock candidates to sign Wolves' impressive 19-year-old midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White before the summer transfer window slams shut. It is understood that the Bavarian side are ready to pay up to £24 million to sign the youngster, and are confident the player will opt to make a move to the Bundesliga giants.
Bayern have regularly deployed their scouts to monitor young English talent, as noted when the club made their bid for Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi last season.
This time however, Bayern are confident they can capture another impressive young English talent in a transfer for Gibbs-White.
The Stafford-born youngster came through the ranks at Wolves, having made his debut in 2017, and has since gone on to represent England's youth side at every level.
Wolves are hoping that they can persuade Gibbs-White to stay put, and are preparing the finishing touches to a new contract offer for the English starlet, however Bayern are still confident that they will be able to capture the player who took part in 26 Premier League games last season.
