Manchester United suffer fresh injury blow for Arsenal clash

30 September 2019 - 17:13

Manchester United have received an unexpected injury blow with Aaron Wan-Bissaka unlikely to participate in tonight's Premier League clash against Arsenal.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • The England international has been ever-present for the Red Devils this season and he has missed just one game in the Europa League against Astana, where he was rested.

However, in the lead up to the Gunners clash, he seems to have suffered a mystery injury and that is expected to see him sidelined for the Premier League encounter, The Mirror reports.

Aside from Wan-Bissaka, Diogo Dalot is also unavailable for the game with a knock and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may go with either Axel Tuanzebe or Ashley Young on the right side of the defence.

Meanwhile, there are some positives on the injury front with Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford tipped to make the matchday squad after passing late fitness tests.

United are presently four points behind the final Champions League spot and Solskjaer will be hoping for a positive result against the Gunners, who are one of their top four rivals.
