A section of the Manchester United staff believe that they can land the signature of Erling Braut Haaland from Red Bull Salzburg at the turn of the year.
The Norway international has been in tremendous form for Salzburg this term and he has already amassed 26 goals in all competitions including seven from four Champions League games.
According to The Athletic, there is a strong feeling among the Red Devils staff that the 19-year-old will make the move to Old Trafford during the 2020 January transfer window.
It is added that Haaland has a good relationship with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from their time together at Molde and that will prove a key factor in luring him to the club.
Still, the Red Devils will have to deal with super-agent Mino Raiola who does not have the best relationship with the United hierarchy after seeking to push through Paul Pogba's move to Real Madrid last summer.
