Jean-Alain Boumsong could be leaving Juventus and heading for Portugal after Benfica have been linked with making a bid for the 27 year old French defender.
Benfica are looking for a replacement for Anderson who recently joined French champions Lyon. Boumsong only joined Juventus last summer when Didier Deschamps paid £3.26m for his services. However, it is believed Claudio Ranieri has no room for the player in his squad, and Benfica may pay up to £3m for his signature.
