It has been officially announced that the 2010 Champions League final will be played at the Santiago Bernabeu, home stadium of Real Madrid.
Fifa’s Executive Committee revealed the news on Friday. Santiago Bernabeu has been chosen ahead of Bayern Munich’s, Herta Berlin’s and England's Wembley Stadium.
The last major event organised in the venue, apart from Los Merengues’ games, was the 1982 World Cup final.
