Arsenal captain William Gallas and defensive partner Kolo Toure believe that the Gunners can still qualify for the Champions League semi final. Arsenal are desperate for a win in the second leg at Anfield.
"We know that it will be difficult, we know that they will be strong and we know the supporters will be behind them, so that will be the opportunity to show everybody how good we can be," Gallas told Sky Sports News.
Fellow central defender Kolo Toure also backed the Gunners: "It is always difficult because you don't know if you have to push or to wait because you don't want to concede a goal as it would be really difficult for the second game.
"We didn't know if we have to go for one or don't concede a goal."
