Barcelona are open to selling youngster Carles Perez at the behest of new manager Quique Setien, reports the Spanish outlet Marca.

  • Man Utd handed injury boost ahead of Burnley game

  • Serie A outfit AS Roma are said to be the frontrunners for the Spanish youngster.

Perez was promoted to the main team by the former manager Ernesto Valverde and has since made a decent contribution to the squad.

Setien has reportedly made his feelings clear about the 23-year-old that he is no more a part of his plans going around.

Perez has made 10 appearances in La Liga this season, racking up a goal and two assists. He also scored an infamous goal against Inter Milan on his Champions League debut with the Catalans.

Another report from Di Marzio claims that Barca are on the verge of finalizing a loan deal worth £20m for the Spanish U-21 star.

The former Real Betis gaffer has now called another academy talent Alex Collado to the main team for the game against Valencia at Mestalla.
