Bullard eyes Fulham win

03 April 2008 - 22:56

Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard is hoping to give the Cottagers' fans something to enjoy and cheer about as they prepare to take on relegation rivals Sunderland in a 'six pointer' at the weekend at Craven Cottage.

  • Jimmy Bullard told the club's official website: "As players we try a hundred per cent.

"I know that as long as the fans think you're trying they keep behind you but we haven't given them enough to cheer about this season. I want that to change.

"We're professional football players and we're in the Premier League and we need to show some quality out there and get the results that will help us stay in this division.

"None of us want to go down and we're not thinking that way, but we owe the fans and we all need to show them that on Saturday."
