Pogba may not be sold by United this summer

Manchester United undecided on Paul Pogba's future?

08 February 2020 - 19:56

Manchester United have yet to make the decision over the future of midfielder Paul Pogba, who has been attracting interest from both Juventus and Real Madrid.

  • Chelsea midfielder looking forward to London derby vs Spurs
  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The Frenchman talked up the desire to pursue a new challenge in June 2019 and that saw him linked with a move to Real Madrid throughout the summer transfer window.

Since then, the midfielder has hardly played for the Red Devils due to a series of ankle injuries but United expect him to return to first-team action before the end of February.

According to Evening Standard, the United board are undecided over the future of Pogba despite widespread suggestions that the midfielder has made his mind up for a fresh challenge.

United are said to value Pogba around £150m and they believe none of the midfielder's suitors may meet their asking price alongside the player's £300,000-a-week wages.

Pogba's current deal expires in the summer of 2021 but United have the option of prolonging his stay for another 12 months with an extension clause available in the same contract.
