Lyon starlet Clement Grenier has been linked with a move to Premiership giants Arsenal. The player, who in France has been dubbed the 'new Kaka', is believed to be valued by Lyon at around £7 million.
Grenier said: "Wenger is very impressed but Lyon told him to forget it.
"They want him to stay here a few years as they expect to be able to get a huge transfer fee for him."
Grenier has yet to sign a professional contract, and Wenger has often used his ties to acquire the continent's brightest young talent on the cheap before they sign professional terms.
