Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Real Valladolid centre-back Mohammed Salisu reveals Daily Mail.
The 20-year-old is said to have a release clause worth £10m and also wanted by the fellow Spanish clubs Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
However, Los Blancos might have the edge in the transfer race as they believe they could benefit from the healthy relationship between their president Florentino Perez and Valladolid’s Ronaldo, a former Galactico and Brazilian International.
The report also states that Salisu could seek an exit this summer despite Valladolid's interest to extend his stay.
Salisu has been impressive in his breakout season with Valladolid, becoming a regular fixture for them in La Liga.
Elsewhere, United are also looking for defensive reinforcements in the summer, and they are ready to battle out with the Spanish club for the Ghanian youngster.
The Red Devils are also said to be the frontrunners in the race for Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly, who is likely to cost as much as £120m.
