Juventus are reportedly eyeing a move for Manchester United defender Chris Smalling, who is currently plying his services at AS Roma on loan.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The English defender has cut a different figure since he made his switch to Serie A, holding the defence together for Paulo Fonseca's side.

According to Daily Mail, Juventus are amongst the clubs interested in signing the 30-year-old alongside Everton and Tottenham.

The report also adds that Smalling wants to join the Giallorossi permanently, but that would be possible only if they end up in the top four of the table.

Red Devils' Chief Executive Ed Woodward has labelled an asking price worth £16.5m (excluding the wages), which the Serie A outfit would find difficult to match if they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.

The English centre-back has made 19 appearances in Italian top flight this season, registering two goals and an assist to his name.

At Turin, Maurizio Sarri’s defence hasn’t been the strongest in the league as new signings Matthijs de Ligt and Merih Demiral have failed to make the desired impact.
