Juventus want Kewell

Juventus want Kewell

05 April 2008 - 11:02

Liverpool midfielder Harry Kewell has been sensationally linked with a move to Italian giants Juventus. The Australian midfielder has spent all of the season on the sidelines, and the 'Old Lady' are prepared to give Kewell a lifeline.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Kewell himself is keen to stay in the Premiership or Scotland if possible; and Celtic have emerged as potential buyers for Kewell.

However, now that the interest of Juventus is widely known, Kewell may be tempted with the reported £60,000 per week offerings of Juventus.

Kewell has been told by Rafa Benitez he has no future at the club, and Kewell is desperate to return to first-team action to get his career back on track after injury.
