Real Mallorca defender Ivan Ramis could be on his way to the Premiership after Juande Ramos reportedly admitted an interest in the Spanish defender. Tottenham are in the market for a defender after missing out on Javi Navarro and Dani Jarque.
The 23 year old has been in outstanding form in La Liga this year, and the former Valladolid man may be allowed to leave his current club for around £4 million.
Tottenham will be aware however, that Sevilla are also monitoring Ramis as the Sevillista side look to add defensive cover to their squad.
Ramis has been unable to agree a new deal with his club, and this news has put Tottenham on high alert. Talks over a new deal have seemingly broken down.
Portsmouth boss arry Redknapp has also been interested in signing the defender.
