Manchester United handed boost in signing Inter Milan star?

22 July 2020 - 21:10

Manchester United have been handed a boost in signing Milan Skriniar with Inter prepared to sell him at the right price this summer.

  • Juventus and Napoli enter race for Chelsea winger
  • Felix Nmecha linked with Chelsea move

  • The 25-year-old has been with the Nerazzurri for the past three years and he has been influential towards the club finishing in the top four.

He currently has another three years remaining on his contract with Inter, but there are suggestions that he could be placed in the transfer market.

According to Calciomercato, the centre-back is no longer indispensable to the Nerazzurri and they would be willing to sanction his sale for £50m.

The San Siro outfit are currently third in the league standings with an eight-point gap to Juventus with four games left to play.

Antonio Conte is expected to be backed in the transfer market this summer similar to the previous and there could be numerous changes made.

Manchester United have been keeping tabs on Skriniar over the past few years and it remains to be seen whether they will make a move for him.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is on the hunt for a new centre-back this summer as he is not entirely convinced with the performances of Victor Lindelof.
