Liverpool striker Rick Parry has vowed that he will be better than Arsenal striker Thierry Henry; and promised to emulate the Barcelona forward.
âHenry is an idol for me,â the Liverpool man said in The Daily Mirror.
âI used to watch a lot of him on TV because he plays up front and I like to look at how he plays and what kind of decisions he makes at key moments.
âLike me, he started also as a winger before he joined Arsenal. Benitez knows I like to play up front though, and hopefully one day he will give me the chance to play there and for me to focus on my favourite position.
âIâm trying to do the same as Henry by moving from winger to play inside.
âI try to improve my game so hopefully one day Iâll be the same or maybe even better than the level Henry reached.
âEven after training I spend half an hour practising something extra such as my finishing or control to reach that level.â
