Manchester United boss wants two signings before deadline

25 September 2020 - 21:11

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants the club to pursue at least two new signings before the transfer window closes on October 5.

  • Juventus and Napoli enter race for Chelsea winger
  • Felix Nmecha linked with Chelsea move
  • The Red Devils were expected to spend heavily this summer after their third-place finish last season, but that has simply not been the case.

Earlier this month, they landed the signature of Donny van de Beek from Ajax and the Dutchman remains their only high-profile signing of the summer.

The club have been in regular contact with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho, but they have failed to find the breakthrough due to the hefty £108m price tag on the table.

According to Standard Sport, Solskjaer is still desperate to land the services of Sancho and the club could make an official bid before the transfer deadline.

Meanwhile, a new left-back remains another priority for the Red Devils boss and of late, Alex Telles has been tipped to join the club from Portuguese giants Porto.
