Manchester United have enquired about the possibility of signing Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr, a report from The Telegraph claims.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with the services of Jadon Sancho this summer, but they have failed to reach an agreement with Borussia Dortmund.
The German side are said to demand around £108m for the forward's sale and the Red Devils are reluctant to pay anything close to that figure.
Hence, negotiations between the sides have stalled and it is now reported that the Mancunian giants are looking into alternative targets to Sancho.
Sarr has been fancied to return to the Premier League since the Hornets' relegation and he was recently linked with a move to Liverpool.
United are exploring the possibility of signing him on a season-long loan, but the Hornets are expected to snub the approach.
Watford are only willing to part ways with Sarr, if any interested club is willing to meet their £40m fee for a permanent transfer.
