Benfica have completed the signing of striker Oscar Cardozoâs sporting and federative rights. The Paraguayan player has been in good form the Portuguese side who have decided to take up the option of a permanent purchase.
Benfica paid 9 million Euros the previous season to snap up the player from Newell's Old Boys last summer.
Cardozoâs agent Pedro Aldave confirmed that negotiations were almost finalised between his current and former club.
The player is set to earn around £25,000 a week at the Portuguese side.
