Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni has decided that his future will be at the German club despite interest from his homeland. Lazio and Roma were reportedly considering a move for the striker.

  • Chelsea keen on signing Newcastle United winger

  • "Here in Munich I feel really good,” he said.

“I live in the center, the city is wonderful, safe, clean, unlike in Italy! The people are very friendly and at the same time very polite and composed when they approach to ask for an autograph or photo.

“Next season we will be back in the Champions League, and our club has big ambitions. I see no reason why I should leave.”

Toni is valued at around £9 million by Bayern but his future looks to be to remain in Germany.
