Ole Gunnar Solskjaer speaks on Manchester United's transfer plans

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that the club are unlikely to sign any player during the January transfer window.

  • Arsenal make decision to sell midfielder for £20m
  • Arsenal lining up surprise move for Real Madrid star

  • The Red Devils have experienced an average start to the current season and they are seven points behind the league leaders with one game in hand.

They have struggled for consistency and the main concern has been at the back where they have allowed 14 goals from just eight games.

Hence, there has been much speculation that the club could pursue another centre-back, but Solskjaer has insisted that he is very happy with the squad.

"I feel very happy with my squad, we're getting stronger. I still have issues every week when we only have an 18-man squad: who do I leave out? I feel we're in a good position," He told via The Mirror.

Victor Lindelof has come for scrutiny for his performances alongside Harry Maguire this term, but he has remained a regular starter when fit.

The Swede has been struggling with a back problem of late, but Solskjaer has confirmed that he should be fine for the Southampton trip on Sunday.
