Manchester United set their sights on four signings

16 December 2020 - 21:08

Manchester United are reportedly planning to make four signings over the next couple of transfer windows to complete their squad overhaul.

  • Juventus and Napoli enter race for Chelsea winger
  • Felix Nmecha linked with Chelsea move

  • The Mancunian giants purchased the likes of Donny van de Beek, Edinson Cavani, Alex Telles and Facundo Pellistri in the summer while Amad Traore will join them at the turn of the year, if he receives his work permit.

Despite the new arrivals, the club have had issues on the playing field at different stages of the campaign and Manchester Evening News claims that they are eyeing a quartet of signings over the next 12 months.

The Red Devils are likely to make a shortlist of potential targets over the next couple of weeks, but won't approach for any of them next month unless they are listed for a transfer.

The club have obviously had a weakness at the heart of the defence which needs to be resolved. Aside from a centre-back, they are eyeing a new winger, defensive midfielder and right-back.
