French heavyweights AS Monaco are interested in signing Alexandre Lacazette during this summer's transfer window.
The 29-year-old has been with Arsenal since the summer of 2017 and he has accumulated 58 goals and 28 assists from 158 appearances.
According to The Mirror, the Principality outfit hold a keen interest in Lacazette and they are aiming to lure him back to Ligue 1.
Lacazette's current deal with the Gunners expires in 16 months' time and contract talks have been delayed until the summer.
In case of a disagreement, the striker could be on the move, given the club are unlikely to let him stay during the final year of his contract.
Monaco have reversed their fortunes after a couple of dismal campaigns and they are fourth in Ligue 1, only six points behind leaders Lille.
The club are on the search for an experienced striker and Lacazette has reportedly emerged as their top target for the summer.
Lacazette has vast Ligue 1 appearances, having previously turned out 203 times for Lyon in the league between 2010 and 2017.
