Man United receive Coman boost

Manchester United to swoop for Bayern Munich attacker?

08 March 2021 - 20:43

Manchester United have received a boost in signing Kingsley Coman with the attacker turning down a contract proposal from Bayern Munich.

  • Chelsea midfielder wants to play in Olympic games
  • Arsenal favourites to sign French winger ahead of Chelsea

  • The Red Devils are actively on the search for a right-sided winger and Coman was on their radar during last summer's transfer window.

Bayern clearly stated that he was not for sale, but their stance may change at the end of the campaign, as per Kicker.

Coman has recently snubbed a contract offer on the table and as things stand, his deal will expire in the summer of 2022.

The winger is fairly relaxed over the situation and believes there is plenty of time left to sort out his future with the European champions.

However, Bayern may not stay patient for long and it is claimed that they may consider his sale, if the stand-off extends until the summer.

United are long-term admirers of Coman and could make a formal approach in case the player is available in the transfer market.
