Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani is prepared to sign a one-year contract extension with Manchester United despite the concrete interest from Boca Juniors.
In a recent interview with Tyc Sports, Cavani's father said that the marksman is unsettled in Manchester and he is looking for a return to South America in the summer.
However, according to Uruguayan journalist Sebas Giovanelli, that does not appear the case and the 34-year-old will have his contract extended for another year through a clause.
He added that the former Paris Saint-Germain striker is fully committed to the Red Devils and will only assess his options at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
Cavani has struggled with multiple injuries this term, but he has still impressed for the Mancunian giants with seven goals and two assists in all competitions.
He is currently sidelined with a calf problem, but could return to action for the club when they host West Ham United in the Premier League this weekend.
