Arsenal have been put on alert with Barcelona prepared to sell Philippe Coutinho for only £35m during the summer transfer window.
The Brazilian was reintegrated into the Blaugrana plans this term after spending the previous season on loan with Bayern Munich.
He had a positive beginning to the campaign, but has been sidelined for the past three months following a knee surgery.
According to The Star, the Blaugrana will need to pay £20m to Liverpool, should Coutinho make 100 appearances for the club.
The 28-year-old is currently 10 games away from meeting the achievement and the Blaugrana are prepared to sell him prior to that.
They purchased him for an initial £105m fee in January 2018, but are prepared to sell him for just £35m when the transfer window reopens.
The Gunners are long-term admirers of the former Liverpool man and they attempted to land his signature during the summer of 2019.
They may be tempted by the reduced price tag for the playmaker.
