Portsmouth target Jonas Gutierrez is being lined up as a replacement for Daniel Alves - who is expected to leave Sevilla for La Liga rivals Barcelona. Gutierrez is one of the best progressing talents in La Liga this year.
Known to many as 'Spider-Man' after donning a mask to celebrate a goal for Real Mallorca; Gutierrez is valued at around £4 million by his current club Real Mallorca.
Gutierrez recently admitted he would almost certainly leave his side: I only know the news that has appeared in England," Gutierrez told the Spanish media.
"My work is in Mallorca and not in the rumours in the press."
Mallorca have yet to reveal whether anyone has made a formal bid for the player.
