Chelsea favourites to land Declan Rice?

Chelsea are considered favourites to sign West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice this summer, Eurosport claims.

Rice has been a key figure in midfield for the Hammers, and he is now a regular for the England national side.

He has another three years left on his contract, but it is reported that he could pursue a bigger challenge elsewhere.

Chelsea are deemed favourites to sign the England international, but he could cost a potential club-record fee.

The Hammers are not actively looking to sell the midfielder, but a package of around £100m would entice them.

Rice was previously in the youth ranks of the Blues before he was released. He is said to relish a comeback with the club.

Manchester United have also been linked with his services, but they are unlikely to break the bank to sign him.

Their main priority lies on landing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. He could cost as much as £80m this summer.
