Manchester United are reportedly planning an approach to sign Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic this summer.
United recently landed the signature of Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho. They are now working on signing Raphael Varane from Real Madrid.
The club are also interested in landing a new central midfielder for next season, and Brozovic has emerged as the top transfer target.
According to La Repubblica, United are ready to offer £26m for the Croatian, who has entered the final year of his Inter deal.
Barcelona are also keeping tabs on the player's proceedings, though they are not in a position to negotiate a straight-cash deal.
Brozovic was a key player for the Italian champions last term, registering two goals and seven assists from 42 appearances.
Inter are going through a tough financial situation, and they recently sanctioned the sale of Achraf Hakimi to PSG.
There could be more outgoings before they can spend on new signings. Brozovic could be sold unless he signs a new deal.
