Brazilian midfielder Felipe Anderson has swapped West Ham for Italy with Lazio, linking up with his former club on a free transfer. The midfielder arrived in East London to much fanfare but has failed to live up to expectations.
David Moyes had tried to re-introduce Felipe Anderson in to his side in recent months, but after a disappointing loan spell with Porto, it appears that the writing is on the wall for Felipe Anderson and now he will sign for his former club.
Lazio had been rumoured to have shown interest in their former player last year, but instead the attacking midfielder opted for a move to Portugal.
It is understood that West Ham have agreed to release the player on a free transfer to avoid the complications of paying the reported £130,000 per week that the Brazilian international is currently earning.
Felipe Anderson has signed a four year deal with the Serie A giants, who hope to launch their pursuit of the league title with a brand new look squad for the upcoming campaign.
