Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has returned early from international duty and could make his second debut next weekend.
The Portugal international made a sensational comeback with the Red Devils last month following his decision to leave Juventus.
Upon signing the contract, he left for World Cup qualifier duty. He recently scored both goals in the stunning 2-1 comeback win over Ireland.
However, he won't play the next game at Azerbaijan after picking up a suspension for his second yellow card of the qualifying campaign.
Portugal still have a friendly game against Qatar this weekend, but Ronaldo has been granted permission to report to the club early.
The 36-year-old will now need to quarantine for around five days before reporting for training at the club's Carrington complex.
Ronaldo appears on course to make his second debut for the club when they host Newcastle United in the Premier League on September 11.
United recently confirmed that he will wear the iconic number 7 jersey again.
