Iranian forward Vahid Hashemian has decided to return to VfL Bochum from Hannover. Hannover already signed Jan Schlaudraff from Bayern Munich this week and Hashemian seems to be heading for the exit door.

  • "I am delighted that the transfer has gone through," said Hashemian.

"For me, it is like returning to my home country."

Hashemian has an impressive record in Germany and will hope to continue his goalscoring exploits in the Bundesliga for Bochum.

Hashemian has signed a two year contract.
