Manchester United could look to sign Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic when the transfer window reopens in January.
The Red Devils have made a disappointing start to the current Premier League season with just 17 points from 11 matches.
There have been concerns in the centre of the park with the absence of an elite holding midfielder, who can dominate the proceedings.
The club may look to address the problem at the turn of the year. As per The Mirror, they have their sights on landing Brozovic.
Brozovic's current deal with the Nerazzurri expires in June 2022, and he can negotiate a pre-contract with a foreign club in January.
However, the Nerazzurri could be prepared to cash in on his services this winter. United are planning to negotiate a cut-price deal.
Aside from Brozovic, they have also been linked with the services of AC Milan's Franck Kessie, who has recently snubbed an extension.
Kessie will also enter the final six months of his contract in January, but the Rossoneri have no plans of offloading him amid their title charge.
