Middlesbrough striker Mark Schwarzer has been linked with a shock move to Bayern Munich as the Australian international goalkeeper comes to the end of his contract at Teeside.
Schwarzer admitted in the summer: "It would be nice to finish my career in the Bundesliga."
Oliver Kahn is set to quit football in the summer, and Bayern are lining up Schwarzer as the long term replacement for the German keeper.
Schwarzer already has Bundesliga experience, with a spell at Kaiserslautern.
