Nacional midfielder Mathias Cardaccio is reportedly one of the primary targets of La Liga giants Atletico Madrid. Cardaccio is one of the most promising young players to come out of Uruguay in the last few years.
During the last week Atletico Madrid scouts watched Nacional's match in the Copa Libertadores, and Cardaccio was in fine form again.
Atletico are believed to be ready to offer a 6 million EUR to land the midfielder, but Nacional are looking for closer to 9 million.
The 20 year old has also been linked with a move to Roman giants Lazio. Lazio are ready to make an offer for Cardaccio this summer.
